Exhibition: Enzo Cacciola
Enzo Cacciola is a leading figure of European Analytical Painting (Pittura Analitica), an artistic movement that emerged on the Italian and international art scene in the mid-1970s. He is regarded as one of the movement's most radical representatives, particularly for introducing unconventional industrial materials into the painting process.
The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with Marinko Sudac and the Museum of the Avant-garde, one of the most important private collections of avant-garde and post-war art in Central and Eastern Europe.
Over more than five decades of artistic practice, Cacciola has developed a distinctive visual language in which painting becomes a field for exploring materials, artistic language, and the very process of creating a work of art. Today, his oeuvre holds an important place in the history of contemporary European art, and the exhibition at Zuccato Gallery offers a rare opportunity for Croatian audiences to discover the work of one of the foremost protagonists of Analytical Painting.
The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
