MRF Istra Music Festival
In Poreč, the fourteenth edition of the “Istra Music Festival” will take place from April 9 to 11. The MRF Istra Music Festival is an international cultural and entertainment event featuring choirs and orchestras of both adults and youth from around the world. It has been held for fourteen consecutive years under the patronage of the City of Poreč and the Poreč Tourist Board.
This year, as part of the Istra Music Festival, 7 choirs and 2 orchestras from Germany, Slovenia, Portugal, Ireland, Turkey, Poland, Italy, Latvia, and Austria will perform. The organizer is the German music event agency MusikReisenFaszination, which arranges music festivals across Europe.
Concerts are held in the congress hall of the Plavi Hotel in Zelena Laguna on April 9th, 10th, and 11th. A joint performance featuring all choirs and orchestras will take place on April 10 at 3:00 PM at Freedom Square (Trg Slobode) in Poreč, in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Angels.
Admission to all concerts is free for visitors.
