Poreč Dance FestiVAL

The Poreč Dance FestiVAL will take place from April 26 to 30, 2026, bringing a diverse blend of performances, workshops, and accompanying events across multiple locations in the city. Its aim is to establish Poreč as a center of contemporary dance and to create a sustainable platform for artistic creation, education, and cultural dialogue. The FestiVAL focuses on making contemporary dance more accessible to a wider audience, developing educational content for different age groups, strengthening collaboration between artists and the local community, and activating public spaces as places of artistic encounter and exchange.

MONDAY, April 27

19:00 – WHAT YOU SEE OR NOT – Yellowbiz Art Collective (Theatre Hall, Poreč Open University)

TUESDAY, April 28

11:00 – KOLOPLET – performance for children – Contemporary Dance Association Axis (Theatre Hall, Poreč Open University)

17:00 – Contemporary dance workshop for children – Igroples, Workshop leaders: Korana Stojsavljević, Katija Kaplan (Mala sala, Poreč Open University) 

The workshop is closed to the public.

WEDNESDAY, April 29

17:00 – BAZEN (The Pool) – Artistic Organization Škvadra (Trg slobode - Freedom Square)

18:15 – USB – Performance by the Poreč dance association (Trg slobode - Freedom Square)

19:30 – Film screening  Bijelo- The way I want to remember followed by a talk with the author (Theatre Hall, Poreč Open University)
