Summer @Malo rimsko kazalište

The Small Roman Theatre (Malo rimsko kazalište) in Pula is a unique archaeological and cultural venue that today offers an intimate stage for unforgettable artistic experiences, rooted in the spirit of ancient Roman life.

Nestled on the eastern slope of Pula’s central hill, just below the historic Kaštel fortress, the theatre sits in the very heart of the old town, creating a striking backdrop where history and contemporary culture seamlessly meet.

Built in the 1st century AD, during the early Roman Imperial period, the theatre once welcomed between 3,000 and 5,000 spectators. Today, this beautifully restored monument stands as one of Pula’s most distinctive Roman heritage sites, transformed into an exceptional open-air venue.

With its atmospheric stone setting and remarkable acoustics, the Small Roman Theatre is now dedicated to concerts, musical performances, and a wide range of cultural events, offering audiences a chance to experience world-class performances within a truly historic and inspiring environment.
