Around 500 metres from the shore, in front of the Savudrija-Salvore lighthouse, at a depth of 15 metres, is a wrecked and ancient ship from the Roman period. Around the wreck amphorae can be seen lying in the sand. Its frequent visitors are sea eels which live under the amphorae as well as crabs and other animal and plant species from the Adriatic underwater world.
