Olive oil producers

Reale

Brtonigla-Verteneglio

Details:

Another positive performance for Marino Kraljević's Reale, an oil farm situated in Brtonigla. The olive surface extends over 4 hectares with 1,600 trees of local varieties. In the last oil harvest 150 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 14 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil. We recommend the Monocultivar selection proposed by the farm, the excellent Extra Virgin Reale- Leccino from Organic Farming, which is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is definite and rotund, with rich vegetal hints of artichoke and wild chicory, together with intense notes of officinal herbs, especially mint, thyme and rosemary. Its taste is ample and strong, endowed with a flavour of lettuce and a strong note of black pepper and almond. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct. It would be ideal on farro appetizers, steamed beans, salmon salads, tomatoes stuffed with rice, chanterelle mushroom purée, risotto with artichokes, mussels au gratin, stewed freshwater fish, roast rabbit, baked chicken, goat cheese.

Number of trees: 1600
