Olive Charm is a new entry in the large number of oil farms in this region. Founded in 2005 by Žic Branko, who still runs it with Aleksandar Turković, is situated in Seget, a small village in the area of Umag. There are over 5 hectares of olive grove with 1,117 trees. In the last harvest 80 quintals of olives were produced, which allowed a yield of 15 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil. We recommend the selection proposed by the farm, the Extra Virgin 3 S, a blend of local varieties. It is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is full and elegant, endowed with vegetal hints of artichoke and wild chicory, together with fragrant notes of basil and field balm. Its taste is rotund and harmonic, with a flavour of lettuce, black pepper and almond. Bitterness and pungency are present and balanced, with evident sweetness. It would be ideal on chickpea appetizers, boiled spiny lobster, sea bream carpaccio, ovoli mushroom salads, broad bean purée, pasta with shrimps, fried vegetables, gilthead tartare, soft fresh cheese, oven cookies.
