Franc Arman

Vižinada-Visinada

The tradition of winemaking and viticulture has been woven into Franc Arman's family since 1850. Recent history begins with Franc, who started the winery in the early 1990s, along with his father Edoard, and later joined by his son Oliver, a trained oenologist. The winery is located on a family estate in the village of Narduči, near Vižinada, and has been an important member of the Croatian wine scene for many years. Throughout all the years of its history, the Arman family nurtures autochthonous varieties such as Istrian malvasia and teran, and today also grow international grape varieties: sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, muscat white, pinot gris, merlot and cabernet franc. They are present on the market with a dozen wine labels: from fresh, elegant and aged wines to the most outstanding Il Grande, a Bordeaux coupage of merlot and cabernet franc with the addition of teran, produced only in the best years. They have dedicated the aged grape pomace brandy, Don Edoardo, to their beloved grandfather Edoardo.
