While you are staying in Croatia, we expect you to also contribute to its preservation and protection. The Croatian Firefighting Association warns that a strict ban exists on tossing cigarette butts, grilling, or igniting any fire in the open.

In case of fire, do not endanger yourself and do not hinder firefighters in extinguishing the fire by approaching the fire site to observe, photograph, or film the fire and its extinguishing. Furthermore, the use of drones in the vicinity of firefighting aircraft directly jeopardizes the safety of aerial and ground forces. Pilot crews will cease flight operations immediately upon detecting a drone in the vicinity of their activities. This will hinder fire spread prevention efforts and endanger human lives.
