On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Istria will host the international recreational road cycling marathon Istria300. As part of the event organisation, a detailed traffic management plan has been prepared to ensure traffic flow and minimise delays on the roads throughout the day.

For all road users, certain sections of public roads along the race route will be partially or fully closed, and traffic will be managed according to temporary regulations coordinated by representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, together with the event organiser’s marshal service.

On most sections, vehicles will be allowed to proceed in the direction of the race or cross the race route when conditions permit. However, traffic on certain sections may be restricted or significantly slowed for several hours.

The start and finish of the marathon will be in Poreč. Special attention has been given to traffic management in the areas of Poreč, Labin and Pazin, for which separate maps showing road closures and alternative routes have been prepared. Traffic will be redirected wherever possible in order to maintain normal movement on the road network.
