Under the banner of “Autumn in Poreč”, the city will host more than 40 cultural, sporting, culinary, and entertainment programs, bringing together locals and guests from across Europe. Throughout the season, Poreč will also serve as the stage for major sporting events.

For Sports Fans: Istria300, Plava Laguna Ironman, Sportfest…
Istria300 returns to Poreč, drawing ambitious cyclists to its impressive routes that wind through some of Istria’s most breath-taking landscapes. With the slogan Ride Your Limits - Istria300, the event transforms Poreč into a true hub of the global cycling scene.

The action continues at Žatika Hall, which will host the Cornhole World: ACL Europe Finals & WCO World Cup, the Valamar Cup wrestling tournament, and the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships. Meanwhile, the Alpe Adria Jet Ski Tour will energize Peškera Bay with a thrilling competition that blends speed, skill, and spectacle, delivering nonstop action, adrenaline, and incredible acrobatic performances. Following Padel Poreč Week, the city will also host the European Majorette Cup.

Plava Laguna Ironman 70.3 Poreč, Istria – Hrvatska is the largest triathlon in Croatia and the biggest in this part of Europe. The event will welcome hundreds of athletes from around the globe and is expected to draw a large number of visitors. A day before the main race, the spotlight will be on the youngest competitors at the Iron Kids race in Zelena Resort.

For Lovers of Gastronomy and Local Products
Autumn in Poreč serves up a rich food-and-wine program, inviting visitors to savour top-quality local products, gourmet delicacies, and carefully paired wines, all accompanied by live music and entertainment. The season opens with Green and Blue in Poreč, a vibrant showcase featuring traditional foods and products from Slavonia, enriched with cultural and entertainment highlights.

At the Exhibition of Istrian Authentic Products, local family farms present their specialties and offer tastings of olive oil, cheeses, prosciutto, jams, and other delights. The Poreč market also becomes a stage for culinary experiences, where guests can enjoy freshly prepared dishes, friendly conversations, and a lively musical backdrop that elevates the atmosphere.

The autumn gourmet program culminates with Cabernet Sauvignon & Blue Fish, a culinary journey pairing fine wines with the freshest blue fish, crafted under the guidance of renowned chefs.

Exhibitions, Concerts, Festivals
In autumn, Poreč transforms into an open-air and indoor gallery, filled with exhibitions and music programs. Adding a unique charm is “La mula de Parenzo Day”, an event dedicated to the beloved song that has become the city’s unofficial anthem. The program offers something for all generations: children can enjoy creative workshops, adults can take part in culinary sessions and tastings, while an interpretive city walk reveals the stories and legends tied to the song and the history of Poreč. The celebration culminates with a lively open-air concert.

As every year, Poreč celebrates the feast day of its patron saint, St. Maurus, on November 21st with a solemn mass and a procession through the city streets, accompanied by a vibrant cultural and gastronomic program for all ages. In addition to a variety of theatrical performances, film enthusiasts can experience Porečdox, the international documentary film festival, which traditionally brings together acclaimed filmmakers and presents the latest documentary releases from Croatia and around the world. 

Autumn Fairs
Throughout the autumn months, Žatika Hall hosts a variety of fairs and events, offering visitors a glimpse of the latest innovations and professional programs. The season kicks off in September with PromoArh, the international fair for construction, furnishing, and interior design. In October, Sport Fest Poreč brings together athletes, clubs, and all enthusiasts of sports and an active lifestyle in October. The season concludes with Crofish, the international fishing fair, highlighting the latest trends and technologies in fisheries while celebrating the region’s rich maritime heritage.
