The Germans have declared Istria safe for travel

Posted: March 6, 2021

The German Robert Koch Institute of Health has removed four Croatian regions from the list of at risk areas.

These are the Region of Istria together with the Krapina-Zagorje, the Požega-Slavonia and the Bjelovar-Bilogora regions, as reported by Romeo Draghicchio, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board branch in Germany.

That being so, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has abolished the negative warning for travel to these regions, which means that when travelling back to Germany from these regions, a negative PCR test does not have to be presented and no quarantine is required.

This decision will enter into force on 7th  March 2021.
