Description in the Flos Olei guide

Present again in our Guide, Uljara Baioco aims at creating extra virgin olive oil combining tradition and new techniques. Active in the sector since 1918, in 1996 the farm started its own production and sale. Today the Đurić, who are very interested in the respect for the environment, run almost 5 hectares of olive grove with 4,200 trees and an advanced extraction system. In the last harvest 144 quintals of olives were produced, with a yield of 25 hectolitres of oil.

We recommend the Extra Virgin Baioco - Buža from Organic Farming, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, with fragrant hints of basil, mint and parsley, together with fruity notes of unripe tomato, banana and white apple. Its taste is elegant and vegetal, with a flavour of chicory, country lettuce and celery. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
