Description in the Flos Olei guide

The family nickname, Cadenela, refers to the term used in the ancient local dialect for olive shoots, the so-called mignole. And it is the brand chosen by Giuseppe Lupieri, who has been running this big farm, situated in the favourable district of Vodnjan, since 2009. The estate includes 30 hectares of specialized olive grove with 10,000 trees. In the last harvest 500 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 55 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the Extra Virgin Cadenela - For Meat from Organic Farming, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is definite and rotund, endowed with vegetal hints of artichoke, lettuce and celery, together with fresh notes of aromatic herbs, especially mint and rosemary. Its taste is robust and fine, with a spicy flavour of black pepper and a strong almond finish. Bitterness is powerful and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
