The Grebac family has been practising olive growing for four generations, redeveloping ancient trees and planting new ones in the favourable area of Kaštelir-Labinci. The olive grove extends over 5 hectares, within a larger estate, and includes a total of 1,500 trees. In the last harvest Karlo produced 200 quintals of olives, with a yield of 30 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the selection proposed for the Guide, the Monovarietal Extra Virgin Grebac - Istarska Bjelica, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is ample and elegant, endowed with hints of artichoke and wild chicory, together with notes of aromatic herbs, especially mint and rosemary. Its taste is mellow and harmonic, with a flavour of country lettuce and final notes of black pepper and almond. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and well balanced.
