Description in the Flos Olei guide

In the early 2000s the owners of Oleum Maris were so courageous, that they planted one of the biggest olive groves in the south of the Istrian peninsula, in a territory that had been destroyed by fires. Today, also with the support of the local community, Vlado Corluka runs 60 hectares of olive grove with 15,000 trees and has supplied his estate with a new cellar, a tasting room, a sales point and a panoramic terrace. In the last harvest 2,100 quintals of olives and 300 hectolitres of oil were produced.

We recommend the Monovarietal Extra Virgin Oio Vivo - Buža, which is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is clean and rotund, with fruity hints of medium ripe tomato, banana and white apple, together with aromatic notes of basil, mint and parsley. Its taste is fine and complex, with a vegetal flavour of broad beans, lettuce and celery. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
