Naomi-Jane Adams, luxury travel and fashion influencer visiting our peninsula under this year’s Share Istria program, has been named best luxury travel blogger at the first-ever World Bloggers Award held last week in Cannes. The event was took place at the same time as the reputable Cannes Film Festival.
The award ceremony was streamed live on digital platforms, reaching an audience of over 110 million people, according to WBA.
Around 200 bloggers and influencers were shortlisted from a much larger pool of applicants from the USA, Brazil, France, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Great Britain, India, China, UAE and other countries. Forty-two people were awarded in categories spanning tourism, style, media, fashion, art etc. Selection criteria included the number of followers, quality and authenticity of posts, fans engagement, and influence ability, among other.
Winners’ combined following on Instagram, Youtube and Facebook is measured in hundreds of million.

London-based Naomi-Jane Adams comes with rich knowledge and experience in luxury tourism. Before she started building her own digital media presence, Naomi spent four years between Greece and England, advising tourism companies on their web and social media strategies. In 2017 and onward she devoted all her energies to capitalize on her knowledge and passion for travel.
She is asked by travel companies and tourism boards to visit exciting places and produce beautiful, authentic content for their social media channels. This year she took on another international travel project - Content Creation Retreat in Bali, Indonesia, where she teaches about content creation and digital media.
