After six months of work on the thematic video about Istrian extra virgin olive oils, that includes field-based shooting, cutting, editing, multilingual synchronization, production and adjustment for web release, we've finally got the first eight videos which are soon to be published in the multimedia chapter of our specialized web portal dedicated to the Istrian eno-gastronomy.

The film which includes all eight thematic videos is produced in the collaboration with the most prominent expert and opinion maker of the world olive growing and olive oil making Marco Oreggia, who is  also the editor-in-chief and publisher of one of the best extra virgin olive oil guides in the world - Flos Olei. The cooperation with the editorship of L'extravergine - the guide to the best certified quality olive oil, continues and is enriched by the new common projects and initiatives. While considering the possibilities of further development of the so far successful cooperation, the idea of shooting a documentary on the Istrian olive oils arose, from the first steps from several years ago until today when the olive oils of this region belong to the most appreciated olive oils in the world. The sole fact that the film is going to be made by Marco Oreggia, the world-known expert and one of the greatest authorities when olive growing and olive oil are concerned, says a lot about the significance and importance of the project.

After making a promotion film on truffles in 2005, with famous chef Bruno Clement, also known as the King of Truffles, and then in 2007 cooperating with Lidia Bastianich, American culinary TV star of Istrian origin, this year we continue the project of making promotion films on the Istrian tourist products in cooperation with the world-known opinion leaders in their fields.
