After the regular fair exhibitions in the first half of the year, where the offers of the Croatian travel industry are presented worldwide, some specially organised presentations were also held in April.

The Istria Tourist Board, in cooperation with the office of the Croatian National Tourist Board in Switzerland, thus organised presentation of Istria for the agents of the Swiss tour operator Unique Travel, with the presence of the press. At the Zurich presentation on 09 April, the representatives of the Swiss office of the Croatian Tourist Board showed the trends for Croatia as an increasingly popular destination for the Swiss while the representatives of the Istria Tourist Board presented a variety of tourist offers in Istria.

The next presentation in Germany was scheduled for 10 April, the topic was a cultural tourism and it was organised in cooperation with the office of the Croatian National Tourist Board in Munich. The journalists saw the presentation of transborder tourist projects and the Tourist Board of Istria showed the projects that were implemented with the money from the European funds such as the projects of revival of the historic narrow-gauge railway Parenzana, the revival of tourism in the rural areas of Istria - Revitas and invention of the four thematic trips through the cultural heritage of Istria, gathered under the name of Heart of Istria.
