Lanterna became the first campsite in Croatia with pitches for mega motorhomes
Camping Lanterna from this year offers its guests accommodation on parcels that are specially prepared for mega and luxury motorhomes. These pitches will be available for guests from 1st of June.
For the first time in Croatia, from this season the owners of luxury and mega motorhomes coming to Istria and camp Lanterna, will have a large and great pitch for their "home on wheels" and a pleasant place for camping. Camping Lanterna in Poreč, which operates within the Camping on the Adriatic brand of biggest tourist group in Croatia - Valamar, from this year offers its guests accommodation on parcels that are specially prepared for mega and luxury motorhomes. These pitches will be available for guests from 1st of June.
Pitches are called "Mega Comfort" and they are specially designed for mega motorhomes and size of the pitch is from 130 m2 . The pitches are equipped with electricity (16A), water and connections to the sewer system, since the motorhomes are fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom. Pitches have nice horticultural décor and all guests who will want to explore the charms of Porec and Istria, will have the option of renting a car.
Camping Lanterna in Porec, the largest camp in Croatia, pays special attention to campers with offer of particularly good prices and wide range of services. Campsite is close to the highway and is therefore easily accessible for campers and interesting for owners who are there to find all of the comfort of staying at one of the best Croatian campsites.
In addition to large and standard parcels, the camp also offers stay in luxury mobile homes with two bedrooms, a bathroom and satellite TV. Camping Lanterna has many camping facilities and provides guests with superior service of hotels, under the open sky.
Campsite Lanterna won the award entitled Environmental Award - Gold Award ECO 2013 and has been given by Keycamp and Eurocamp, the largest organizers of accommodation in mobile homes and campsites in Europe. Keycamp and Eurocamp give this award in four categories: Eco Award Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. To win an award in one of the four categories, the camp has to meet a number of criteria, such as various environmental initiatives that have been implemented in the camp.
Lanterna is also a winner and this year's Best Campsite ADAC 2013 as one of the 144 best campsites in Europe. This award is the successor to last year's ADAC Superplatz award, which Lanterna also won. This year the name was changed and is a result of joint cooperation of the largest German and Dutch automobile clubs - ANWB and ADAC.
