Asparagus road

Asparagus is a plant which grows spontaneously and can be found each spring whilst walking through the woods, looking between the bushes and in the fields. Alongside the asparagus fritaja (omelette), Istria's culinary imagination has dedicated numerous dishes to this seemingly mundane foodstuff which can all be tasted along our asparagus Trail during April and May:
