European Championship in Majorette Sport

Novigrad will once again host the European Championship in Majorette Sport, which will take place from 21st to 24th June at the city sports hall. The hosts and guests of the city will have the opportunity to enjoy captivating performances by the best majorettes in Europe. The program also includes a parade through the streets of the old town.

Thousands of talented girls from several European countries, including Croatia, will showcase around 600 choreographies during the competition, with up to 140 performances each day.

Majorettes compete in four age categories in the disciplines of solo, duo/trio, mini and large formations, as well as parade. They incorporate various props into their performances, such as batons, pom-poms, mace, flags, and even two or three different props, along with stage scenery in their dances. Their skills, precision, and excellence will be judged by licensed judges from the International Federation of Majorettes and Baton Twirling Sports (IFMS), representing all national associations.

The international majorette teams parade, featuring the participating teams, will take place on 23rd June, at 8 PM. Therefore, we invite the residents and guests of Novigrad to be in the center of Novigrad during that time.
