Summer Night Fair: With a Sausage in the EU

The Summer Fair in Sveti Petar u Šumi, dedicated to cured meat delicacies, comes alive at dusk with a vibrant evening program full of attractions.

Award-winning producers of sausages, kulen, pancetta, and other traditional cured meats from Istria and across Croatia will present their products in one place—available for tasting and purchase. But it’s not just about meat! A variety of other local producers will also be showcasing their goods, making the Summer Night Fair in the heart of Istria a must-visit event for all lovers of traditional delicacies and homemade products.  

Exhibitors face an added challenge in the competition for the most beautifully arranged cured meat platter. Alongside showcasing top-quality delicacies, they'll need to demonstrate creativity, taste, and style in their presentation! A special treat awaits Istrian sausage lovers with the interactive prize game “Guess the Sausage”, where participants put their taste buds and knowledge of the rich flavours of Istrian sausages to the test.  

Fun and engaging activities are also planned for the youngest visitors, who will have the chance to become little explorers. Scattered across the fairgrounds, clues will lead them on a tasty adventure in the prize game “Sausage Hunt”, where they'll uncover the secrets of Istrian sausage!
