Exhibition: Mosaics in Freedom-Poreč 2026
From 2 to 25 October 2026, the Istrian Assembly Hall in Poreč will host the international exhibition “Mosaics in Freedom – Poreč 2026”, bringing together 39 renowned artists and mosaic professors from six continents.
This major cultural event connects contemporary artistic expression with Poreč’s rich mosaic heritage. The city is renowned worldwide for its UNESCO-listed Euphrasian Basilica and its remarkable mosaics.
Participants include renowned artists and experts from different parts of the world, among them Marco Santi, Beatrice Serre, Giulio Candussio, Luciano Petris, as well as Poreč-based artist Alex Knapić.
The exhibition is organised by Bohemian Garden Croatia, an international summer mosaic school whose programmes have brought together more than 400 students from around the world. The exhibition is curated by Ravenna-based artist Rosanna Fattorini.
