Stancija Kumparička



Stancija Kumparička is a family owned farm located on the Eastern coast of Istria, whos story begins 11 years ago when the Winkler family moved there from Slovenia.

Stancija is an old word meaning a family village and this one in particular has a long history of agriculture, livestock and food production dating back to the 14th century all the way to the present day.

250 goats live and graze on the farmlands, whos milk is used to make top quality artisan cheeses, from yoghurt, milk and whey to fresh cheeses, ricotta and semi-hard aged cheeses all made from unpasteurized biological goat milk.
