The 19th edition of Vinistra - exhibition of wine and winemaking equipment is being held from 11 till 13 May in Poreč, in the Žatika Sports Centre, organized by the Vinistra Association.

The event is divided into the exhibition and competition part where, apart from wines, experts evaluate the Istrian olive oils as well. The fourth international Malvasia competition that gather most of the world producers of this wine sort, mostly from Mediterranean countries, is a result of the latest world trends in the production and consumption of wines produced from indigenous wine sorts which have a strong connection with the territory which they are grown on and are produced in limited quantities.

At the 19th Vinistra Exhibition visitors can participate in numerous professionally guided tastings of different sorts of Malvasia wine and other wine sorts, top olive oils as well as in blending Cuban cigars with Istrian brandy. Again this year, the rich manifestation programme will meet the requirements of ever more demanding Croatian and foreign wine audience who gladly visit Vinistra in order to find out the novelties in the world of enogastronomy.
