Description in the Flos Olei guide

A convincing performance for the farm Vošten, which improves its good position in our Guide. Its founder, Mario, started his activity in the mid-80s of the last century and, after he passed away, his son Roberto and his brothers have been running an estate of 15 hectares, including 9 hectares of olive grove with 1,600 trees. In the last harvest 260 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of almost 33 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the farm selection, the very good Extra Virgin Vošten - Buža, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is clean and rotund, rich in hints of unripe tomato, white apple and banana, together with fragrant notes of basil, mint and parsley. Its taste is fine and strong, with a vegetal flavour of chicory, celery and country lettuce. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
