Wine Olive Oil Cuj is a farm owned by Danijel Kraljević, who created it in the 90s near Umag, a small town and port situated in that particular horseshoe-shaped lagoon in the north-west of the Istrian coast. The estate consists of 10 hectares of specialized olive grove with 800 trees. In the last harvest 200 quintals of olives were produced and 150 purchased, equal to a yield of almost 44 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the very good Monocultivar Extra Virgin selection Cuj - Črna. It is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, with vegetal notes of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, together with spicy hints of black pepper. Its taste is elegant and complex, with a flavour of aromatic herbs, especially mint and rosemary, and a strong note of almond. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
