Every Friday throughout July and August, local family farms (OPGs) and restaurants gather in front of the popular Butiga, creating a vibrant tasting experience in one convenient location. Sample a wide range of local delicacies and enjoy specially prepared tasting menus and promotional offers.
Meet local winemakers, olive growers, and distillers as they present their finest products. Kaštelir is also home to outstanding craft beer producers, as well as Istria's only producer of pumpkin seed oil.
In this charming village, where tradition meets contemporary life, you can discover the art of making traditional Istrian pasta fuži as well as gnocchi, and pljukanci. After the workshop, cook your freshly made pasta and enjoy it with delicious homemade sauces.
