Port Bunarina

The south of Istria and the Pula archipelago have offered protection to sailors for centuries with their lively bays, and have delighted visitors with their beauty. In one of them, the bay of Veruda, lies the port of Bunarina, on the peninsula of Verudela, just opposite the Veruda Marina.

In this small harbour, which is open all year round, you can take in the processes of everyday fishing life. Just four kilometres or 40 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Bunarina is a favourite gathering place of all generations of locals, especially after a walk during the cold winter and spring days.

During the summer months, a boat regularly departs from here to a nearby islet known as the Fratarski otok (Friar’s Island). The nautical part of the port is close to two tourist resorts, Verudela and Ribarska koliba, and offers 290 berths, with 300 communal berths.
