Olive oil producers




This beautiful farm in Rovinj was founded in the 1960s. Damir Dobravac carries on a familiar agricultural tradition, which originally consisted in the production of fruit and vegetables, then also included a vineyard, an olive grove and tourist accommodation. Today he runs 4 hectares of specialized surface with 1,100 trees. In the 2021 harvest 70 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 10 hectolitres of oil. 

The Flos Olei guide recommends the Extra Virgin selection OL, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is fine and delicate, with vegetal hints of artichoke and chicory, together with fragrant notes of officinal herbs, especially mint and rosemary. Its taste is mellow and harmonic, with a flavour of country lettuce and almond. Bitterness and pungency are present and complimentary, with a sweet finish.
