Description in the Flos Olei guide
Terra Eno Olea is a wine and oil farm founded in the mid-1950s. Today it is run by Kristijan Floričić, who manages 45 hectares of olive grove with 12.000 trees within a larger estate. In the last harvest 2.500 quintals of olives were produced, which, once crushed in the modern oil mill, yielded 330 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil. There are two very good Extra Virgin selections, Salvela Aurum and Punta Cissana, chosen by Flos Olei panel.
It is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is definite and rotund, rich in fruity hints of unripe tomato, white apple and banana, together with aromatic notes of basil, mint and parsley. Its taste is exuberant and strong, with a vegetal flavour of artichoke, lettuce and celery. Bitterness is powerful and pungency is distinct and well balanced.
