Description in the Flos Olei guide

Present again in our Guide with a result showing its growth, the small farm owned by Dean Fabijančić was founded in 2010 in Vrhuvština, in the district of Buzet, and consists of 4 hectares of olive grove with 1,000 trees of the cultivar istarska bjelica and others. In the last harvest 90 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 11 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

The selection proposed to our panel is the very good Monovarietal Extra Virgin Vetta - Istarska Bjelica, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is definite and rotund, endowed with vegetal hints of artichoke, chicory and lettuce, together with aromatic notes of officinal herbs, especially mint and rosemary. Its taste is exuberant and strong, enriched with a spicy flavour of black pepper and a strong almond finish. Bitterness is powerful and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
