Description in the Flos Olei guide

Present again in our Guide with a result confirming its level, Ulja Komarija is situated in Draguć, in the district of Cerovlje. It is a beautiful farm founded in 2013 by Nikola Zidarić and currently run by Vilim Jakša. The estate consists of a 7-hectare specialized olive grove with 1,500 trees of several cultivars. In the last harvest 250 quintals of olives were produced, which allowed to yield 30 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil.

We recommend the very good Extra Virgin selection Sveti Kancijan, which is a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is ample and rotund, endowed with vegetal hints of artichoke and chicory, together with fragrant notes of mint and rosemary. Its taste is elegant and complex, with a flavour of country lettuce and a sharp almond finish. Bitterness is definite and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
