Maistra’s Monte Mulini Hotel in Rovinj has become part of one of world’s largest organizations in the luxury hotel business, The Leading Hotels of the World. Monte Mulini is the first five-star boutique hotel in Rovinj opened in March of 2009, the investment amounting to almost HRK 200 million.

The June edition of the popular EnjoyIstra tourist guide has just been published, and is being delivered to reception desks and tourist offices across the Istrian peninsula, to serve as a comprehensive companion to all the travellers visiting Istria in the first month of summer 2012.

The 19th edition of Vinistra - exhibition of wine and winemaking equipment is being held from 11 till 13 May in Poreč, in the Žatika Sports Centre, organized by the Vinistra Association.

Condé Nast Travelera US has picked its Hot List of new hotels for 2012 and Hotel Lone is the only Croatian hotel to have made the cut. 

Istria Bike is a series of new, specialized maps that in a unique and accessible way present the thousands of kilometres of bike routes found on the Istrian Peninsula. Each map of the series deals with a certain tourism region of Istria.

The introduction of a new air route from Pula to Paris (Beauvais) was announced today by the Istrian Tourist Board and Ryanair, one of the world's leading low-cost carriers. The new line will operate twice a week from 16th of May 2012 summer season, with fares starting from €30.99 o/way including taxes.

The British low-budget air carrier Jet2.com will be introducing a new direct line from Manchester to Pula from May of the next year, connecting the two cities once a week, on Saturdays, from 19th May through 6th October 2012.
