If you happen to visit Istria, you should definitely taste the famous Istrian prosciutto, boneless pork loin and sausages, dishes prepared under a large baking lid, homemade gnocchi, fuži and pljukanci (traditional Istrian homemade pasta), delicacies made with the king of aphrodisiacs - white or black truffle as well as numerous salads seasoned with the autochthonous olive oil.
